ABOUT ME
Welcome to Miss InterEducation!
My name is Mide, which is pronounced me-day. I'm an educator currently living and working in Kuwait which is in the Middle East. After undergrad in 2014, I started my professional career as a teacher. I taught for two years teaching grade 6 and grade 7 students world history and geography.
After those two years, I went back to school to earn my master's in counselor education. My journey in education was going great so far but I want to extend my reach as an educator once I finished grad school. So, what did I do? I moved overseas to be a middle school counselor here in Kuwait! I am entering my third year as a school counselor and my fifth year as an educator which is so incredible to think about.

Living abroad has enhanced my understanding of life in a variety of facets such as my profession, womanhood, identity, finances, and more.
Miss InterEducation is the reflection of the intersectionality of my life. My life as a woman, as an educator, and expat (to say the least).
With this piece of the internet I hold, I share different aspects of my life. I hope to connect with other educators from all backgrounds and locations. Looking forward to hear from you!
